Most everybody hates adobe’s PDF reader. It’s fat, bloated, and painful. With google’s web-based PDF viewer, this is going to change. Here is how to use it within gmail. You will see a “view” link in any email that contains a PDF attachment. The email has to actually contain the PDF and not just have a link to a PDF. Clicking on the “view” link will open a web-based PDF viewer. How long before google makes this an option as long as “view as html” from the main google search results?![]()
Viewing PDFs within Google Mail no longer requires adobe reader or any other additional PDF reading software. Yes, Google has a web-based PDF viewer. They are rolling it out for Gmail first.
