How To Play FLV Files In Windows Media Player

Now you do not need to download any special media player to play FLV or Flash files. Windows Media Player can play FLV files using PlayFLV plugin. PlayFLV installs and register FLVSplitter by Gabest and associates FLV files to Windows Media Player. So you just need to double click the FLV file to run it in Windows Media Player.

PlayFLV installer will also prompt user to download and install ffdshow, required for movies in Flash 7 format. PlayFLV is open source and very light weight plugin and creates file association of FLV files with Windows Media Player automatically.
