Microsoft is now one step closer to releasing an update to Internet Explorer Web Browser, on Wednesday they introduced a preliminary of IE8 Beta 2. If the beta version proves popular then there is no reason why Microsoft will not launch the full version by the end of the year.
In my previous post I talked about the key features of the beta 2. It seems that Microsoft’s new browser is all about privacy and security. There are a number of new tools that will help to keep us safer while surfing the Internet.
The one thing that I do not understand though is how far behind other websites are. I visit my online banking site everyday and it always says that the browser is not supported, how long has Internet Explorer 7 been out and yet websites are still not supporting the browser. Now they will be two browser versions behind.
Without a doubt IE8 Beta 2 will be welcome to a lot of people as they hope for a faster and more secure, but there are a lot of websites out there that might need to update their coding so the site work correctly.
